Last night, Marissa Jaret Winokur was voted off of "Dancing with the Stars." I was kinda bummed. She is a Tony Award winning Broadway star (for her performance in "Hairspray"), she definitely wasn't the best dancer, but she had a great attitude and was fun to watch. As a "full-figured" woman, she totally proved that you don't have to be a stick figure to be happy, confident, and beautiful. I really liked her, but it was her time to go bye-bye.
Here's who is left to dance in the final:
Cristián de la Fuente, an international film star. He actually tore his bicep during a dance (LIVE) a few weeks ago. It was crazy because he totally mucked up his dance as he tried to continue after the injury. He decided to postpone the surgery to finish the competition, and as a result he has developed a lot of fan support. He's okay, but not worthy of the final 2, in my opinion.
Jason Taylor, NFL Man of the Year. I already talked about him in a previous post. One word: HOT! As a co-worker quoted "He is just oozing sex." I may have to become a Miami Dolphins fan after this (well, not really). His dance partner is John's favorite, Edyta...yeah, she's pretty hot too (I have not problems admitting when another woman is good looking). He is definitely going to fight until the bitter end.
Kristi Yamaguchi, the Olympic champion figure skater, is my favorite. She has done great throughout the season. There was some controversy concerning her because other contestants claimed that she had a definite advantage over them. Her partner comes up with the most incredible choreography and she does a fantastic job executing it.
I think that it is going to be a close one between Jason and Kristie.
I apologize for all of the TV posts, but I am a loser and have nothing better going on. If you are not enjoying these posts, then I would advise you to cease your visits to this blog because once "The Bachelorette" starts, I may have weekly posts about it (especially now that I know that I am not the only one with this guilty pleasure...I know that there are more of you out there...it's okay, we are here for you!).
