Wrong...but not disappointed

So my skepticism from my own prediction last week was right on. "The Bachelorette" has finally concluded, and the lucky guy was Jesse.I'll admit, I was a little disappointed when Jason was the first to step out of the limo (which meant he was NOT the one she chose). However, while watching DeAnna and Jesse during "After the Final Rose," there was no doubt that she made the right decision. It just goes to show you that opposites do attract. Like I said last week - there was definitely something more to just the exterior when it came to Jesse, and DeAnna really showed her true colors by indulging in that to find that he was the one for her.

They even announced that they set a date for a May 2009 wedding. I wonder if this is going to be a repeat of Trista and Ryan with a nationally televised wedding.

They even had Matt and Shayne from the last season of "The Bachelor" on the show to give us an update on their status, and shockingly, they are still together. I still say that she is fake and ridiculous and way too young. Time will tell!

I have been waiting for this post all day! I too was shocked, but when they were going back over all the things Jesse and Deanna had done together, I totally changed my mind about him. I loved him snowboarding with her on his back, and I loved the little book he gave her last night, too cute! You totally got me hooked this season, and I think Brian would like to kill you now. do you think they will make Jason the next Bachelor?

i think that jason would be a fool to be the next bachelor due to his son...would he willing to stay away from ty again and introduce him to someone else who may not become a part of their lives? that's my opinion.

if anyone from this season becomes the next bachelor, i think that it will be jeremy.

apologize to brian for me! hee, hee!

OK... I finally finished watching it all. Like Carla, I was surprised, but not disappointed. I knew at one point, when she said that the person she chose was someone who challenged her to be a better person, that she had chosen Jesse. (Not sure why, but when she said that I felt like she picked the person who was very different from her.) Still I was surprised that Jason was the first out of the limo. I think Deanna's sister-in-law said it best that with Jason Deanna would fast-forward her life five years and with Jesse there would be a lot of surprises and adventures.

Upon further reflection, she obviously was into Jesse more when their last dates were scheduled. She took him to a deserted island where they could romp around all day and make out. She took Jason scuba diving where all they could do was hold hands and swim next to each other. HELLO - she's obviously into Jesse more physically!!

I agree with Carla that Jason would be a fool to be the next bachelor b/c of ty. Jeremy would be a better candidate. And my guess is that ABC will follow Deanna and Jesse's wedding next spring. Maybe we could all get together and watch it together!!!

Can't wait for the next season of the Bachelor!!

And in the event that you just can't get enough...

People.com is reporting that Deanna and Jesse have their own web page now to keep us all up-to-date on their comings and goings and preparations for the wedding. I haven't visited yet, but you can see it all for yourself at:
